PINEAPPLE BARS 
4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 lg. can pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
Vanilla

Thicken pineapple and 1 cup sugar. Mix flour, baking powder, salt like pie crust. Rub in sugar, well beaten eggs, vanilla and enough milk to moisten dough. Take half of dough and roll out between wax paper. Put in cookie sheet. Add thickened cooled pineapple. Roll other half of dough over pineapple. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Use an 11x17 inch cookie sheet.
