PINEAPPLE FILLING 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. butter

Mix crushed pineapple, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook until thick. Add butter. Cool. Makes enough filling for 3 layer cake or 9x13 inch cake.
