MARTHA WASHINGTON BALLS | |
2 boxes powdered sugar 1 stick butter 1 can condensed sweetened milk 4 c. chopped pecans 1 tsp. vanilla 1 pkg. (1/2 lb.) semi-sweet chocolate 1 block paraffin Cream first 4 ingredients. Add nuts. Roll into balls the size of marbles or larger. Use powdered sugar to dip hands in. Melt chocolate and paraffin over low heat. Dip balls into mixture one at a time, holding each with toothpicks. Drop on wax paper. This stays fresh for days or weeks in tight container. |
