BOSTON BAKED BEANS | |
1 lb. beans, dry 1/2 lb. salt pork 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. molasses 1/3 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 onion (sliced) 3-4 c. boiling water Soak beans overnight. Drain and put in crock pot. Cut pork into cubes and slice onions and bury in beans. Combine seasonings, mix with water, pour over beans. Cover and cook until soft, 6-7 hours. Add water as needed. (Serves 8.) |
