AUNT FANNY'S BAKED SQUASH 
3 lb. yellow summer squash
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. cracker meal, bread crumbs or corn flake crumbs
2 eggs
1 stick butter
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
Black pepper to taste

Wash and cut up squash. Steam until done, then mash.

Add all ingredients except 1/2 of butter to squash. Melt remaining butter. Pour mixture in baking dish, then spread melted butter over top and sprinkle with crumbs (different ones put the other ones in the pudding). Bake in 370 degree oven for approximately 1 hour, or until brown on top.
