SWEET CUCUMBER PICKLES 
Soak small cucumbers in strong salt water for 24 hours: 1 cup salt to 4 cups water. Drain and dry.

For 2 quarts salted cucumbers use:

1 qt. vinegar
1 qt. water
4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. mixed spices (cloves, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg)

Heat liquid, sugar and spices to boiling. Add drained cucumbers and boil 15 minutes. Pack hot in sterilized jars and seal.

If dill is desired add a little.
