OLD FASHIONED CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. Nestle's cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 c. milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, Nestle's cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In large bowl, combine sugar, butter and vanilla extract. Beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture alternately with milk. Pour into greased and floured 8-inch round cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes. Remove from pans. Cool completely. Makes two 8-inch cake layers.
