POPPY SEED BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
2 eggs
1 c. cooking oil
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. poppy seed

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Combine sugar, milk, egg and oil. Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder. Add to milk-egg mixture. Add vanilla and poppy seed. Mix until smooth.

Bake in 2 greased loaf pans about 40 minutes or until done.

GLAZE:

1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. orange juice
3/4 c. confectioners' sugar

Mix all together. While loaves are hot, penetrate top with fork in several places and cover with glaze. Cool loaves before removing.
