BRENDA'S POPPY SEED BREAD 
3 c. flour (sift, then measure)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 1/8 c. oil
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds

Mix all ingredients together for 2 minutes. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake 350 degrees for one hour. Test for doneness. Cool 5 minutes.

GLAZE:

1/4 c. orange juice
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring

Mix all ingredients and heat until sugar is dissolved. Pour glaze over bread while in pans and make holes in bread with toothpick.
