DELUXE SPICE CUPCAKES 
1 c. uncooked prunes or dates, pitted
1 c. boiling water
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. allspice
3 eggs
1 c. raisins

Pour water over fruit; let stand 2 hours. Place fruit mixture and other ingredients in mixing bowl; blend 1 minute at low speed, 2 minutes at medium speed. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes about 30.
