SOFT MOLASSES COOKIES 
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. milk
1 c. dark molasses
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 c. chocolate chips

Melt butter; add to molasses. Add sugar and eggs; blend. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to molasses mixture alternately with milk; mix well. Add chocolate chips and mix again. Drop cookies from tablespoon 2 inches apart to make 3 1/2 inch diameter cookies. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
