RANGER COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. Rice Krispies
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. coconut

Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add dry ingredients. Stir in oatmeal, Rice Krispies and coconut. Shape into balls about the size of a walnut; mash down with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees on an ungreased baking sheet for 10 to 14 minutes.
