LASAGNA 
1 recipe Basic Meat Sauce
1 lb. ricotta cheese
1 egg
1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
1 lb. American cheese, grated
1 lb. box lasagna, cooked, rinsed and drained

In small bowl, combine egg and ricotta cheese; beat with wooden spoon or mixer until well blended. Grease the bottom of a large lasagna dish or 9x13 inch baking pan.

Make a layer of lasagna noodles, then add a layer of meat sauce (with most of the excess juice drained off). Then top the layer with each of the 5 cheeses. Repeat this procedure 1 or 2 more times, always ending with cheese on top.

Cover with foil and bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. Allow lasagna to set for a few minutes before cutting into squares.
