FUDGE (MOM KELLER) 
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 (5 1/3 oz.) can evaporated milk

Bring to a boil stirring constantly until it boils hard. Then lower heat and cook 10 minutes (keep stirring). Remove from heat.

ADD:

1/3 c. Karo white syrup
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Nuts, if desired

Stir until butter is melted. Pour into a buttered pan and spread evenly. Cool in refrigerator and cut. Will freeze or keep in refrigerator.
