MOM'S HOT FUDGE SAUCE 
1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
6 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate chips in double boiler. Remove from hot water and add sugar, syrup and milk. Return to double boiler and stir constantly, about 1/2 hour, until all is dissolved and smooth. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Yield: about 3 cups.
