WORLD'S BEST COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. oats
1 c. crushed cornflakes
1/2 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg and mix well. Add oil and vanilla; mix. Add oats, cornflakes, coconut and nuts. Stir well. Add flour, soda and salt. Mix well and form into walnut sized balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with fingers or fork dipped in water. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Let cool a couple of minutes on cookie sheet then remove. Makes 6-7 dozen.
