ORIGINAL TOLL HOUSE COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts

Cream together butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, soda, and salt. Then add to creamed mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees (20 to 25 minutes for pan cookies).
