ORIGINAL TOLL HOUSE PAN COOKIES 
1 c. + 2 tbsp. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
6 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet real chocolate morsels
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt, set aside. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Beat in egg. Gradually add flour mixture, mix well. Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts. Spread dough into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool, cut into 16 - 2 inch squares.
