BELLS DANISH PUFF 
1 c. butter
1 c. boiling water
2 tbsp. cold water
4 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. almond extra (or your choice)

FROSTING:

2 c. 10X sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk

Cut 1/2 cup butter with 1 cup flour until coarse. Add cold water and stir until well blended. Press into 9 x 13 inch ungreased pan.

In a saucepan boil water and add 1/2 cup butter. Bring to a boil, then add extract. Stir in 1 cup flour. Remove from heat. Beat in eggs one at a time. Spread over dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 55 minutes.

Mix all frosting ingredients together well. Spread on Danish as soon as you take out of oven. Cut into squares.

Tip: Top each square with 1 teaspoon pie filling. Serve warm.
