BRANDIED APPLESAUCE 
6 tart apples
2 c. water
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. fruit flavored brandy, any flavor

Peel, core and quarter apples. Place in water and cook over low heat until apples soften. Stir occasionally. Take from heat, add powdered sugar, cinnamon and brandy. Simmer 5 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Excellent with pork chops, chicken or potato pancakes.
