ENGLISH MUFFIN BREAD 
2 pkgs. yeast
6 c. unsifted flour
1 tbsp. sugar
2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. water
Cornmeal

Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and soda. Heat liquids until hot (120 to 130 degrees). Add liquid to dry mixture and beat well. Stir in remaining flour to make a stiff batter. Spoon into 2 loaf pans (greased and sprinkled with cornmeal). Cover and let rise 1 hour. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.

Note: Can also be baked in 3 (1 pound) coffee cans.
