CHINESE CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. diced onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 can Chinese vegetables
1 can tomato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can water
1 can sliced water chestnuts
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 c. sliced mushrooms (2 4-oz. cans stews and pieces, drained)
2 1/2 c. chow mein noodles
1/2 c. cashews, broken

Brown ground beef. Add onions and celery, simmer until tender. Combine with remaining ingredients. Add chow mein noodles and cashews last. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

NOTE: Two meals for family of four. Divide before adding noodles and nuts. Add half amount of noodles and nuts to pan for oven. Freeze other half without and add nuts and noodles after thawing before baking.
