CHOCOLATE ANGEL FOOD DESSERT | |
1 pt. cream, whipped 4 eggs, separated 2 tbsp. sugar 2 sm. pkgs. chocolate chips 1 c. nuts, chopped 1 angel food cake Melt chocolate chips in double boiler, add egg yolks and let cool. Fold in beaten egg whites and then fold in whipped cream. Break an angel food cake into small pieces. Cover the bottom of a 9 x 12 inch cake pan with 1/2 of the cake pieces. Cover with 1/2 of the sauce mix. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the nuts. Add the rest of the cake and pieces, then the rest of the sauce mix and then the rest of the nuts. Place in refrigerator for several hours. Serves about 15. |
