SLOW COOKED PORK CHOPS
4 1" - 1.5" bone-in pork chops (have to be thick!)
1 12 oz beer
3 tbsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. fresh ground pepper
1/4 cup olive oil
2 (15.5 oz cans) butter beans

PREP TIME: 1. 5 hours (It's worth it!)

First, wash and dry pork chops. Then cover each side with the salt and pepper combination.

Next, heat olive oil to about 350°F on a stove top. Brown both sides of the pork chops. Reduce heat to low and add beer and garlic.

Cover and simmer for 45 minutes and then turn chops and add butter beans. Re-cover and continue to simmer for an additional 45 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve immediately!!

Thanks for the recipe Paul. I must agree, it was worth it! The pork chops turned out very tender. I think the best part was the minimal ingredients required, I added bread and a smaill salad and poof! dinner
