YEAST BISCUITS 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. warm water
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening

Mix yeast, warm water and sugar. Stir and let stand 10 minutes. Sift dry ingredients in mixing bowl and cut in shortening. Add liquid and mix. Roll on floured board or waxed paper and cut biscuits. Put in greased pan and bake in 425 degree oven for 15 minutes.
