1 1/2 lbs. ground fresh pork 1 med. green pepper 1 med. onion 1 tsp. sugar 2 cans tomato soup (undiluted) 5 level c. cooked noodles Salt and pepper Ritz cracker crumbs (about 1 c.) 2 tbsp. butter Chop green pepper and onion (not too fine) and saute until soft (not brown). Add ground pork and cook until white. Mix with other ingredients in baking dish and top with crushed Ritz crackers dotted with 2 tablespoons butter. Bake at 325 degrees making sure it cooks after heating for at least 15 minutes as pork was not thoroughly cooked at first (approximately 1 1/2 hours). |
