PIZZA FRI - PATS | |
1 pkg. Fri-Pats 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained 1/4 c. finely chopped onion 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 4 slices low fat mozzarella cheese 4 hamburger buns or hard rolls, split & toasted, if desired Cook Fri-Pats as directed on package. Combine tomato sauce, mushrooms, onion, oregano and garlic salt; simmer gently, about 10 minutes to blend flavors. Spoon about 2 tablespoons sauce on each hot Fri-Pat. Top each with a slice of cheese. Sprinkle with additional oregano, if desired. Broil 3-4 inches from heat until cheese softens. Serve on hamburger buns or hard rolls. Spoon additional sauce over cheese, if desired. |
