CHUCKWAGON BEANS | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. bacon 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 c. ketchup Dash of Worcestershire 1 tbsp. mustard 1 c. brown sugar 3 lbs. pork and beans 1/2 c. hickory flavored, barbeque sauce Combine beef, onion, and green pepper; brown in skillet. Drain off all grease. Cook bacon to a crisp, then place in freezer for 5 minutes to aid in crumbling. Combine all of the above ingredients and cook in a crock pot on low for 4-6 hours. Yield: 12 servings. |
