PARISIENNE PEAR SALAD 
4 c. diced pears
4 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. broken walnuts
1 c. diced unpared apples
2 tsp. sugar
2 c. thinly sliced celery

Lightly toss fruits with lemon juice, sugar and 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, chill. Just before serving, add celery, walnuts, rest of mayonnaise. Serve on lettuce leaves and top with French dressing. If desired, garnish with half of maraschino cherry.
