BUTTERMILK POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
6 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
3 c. flour with 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
1/4 tsp. butter flavor

Cream sugar and shortening well. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Alternately add buttermilk and flour and soda. Add remaining ingredients. Bake in greased and floured bundt pan in 350 degree oven for one hour.
