PECAN BUTTERMILK POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 sticks butter
3 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Mix together sugar, eggs, and butter. Add flour, buttermilk, and soda. Oil tube pan and spread 1 cup pecans on bottom of pan. Pour batter over pecans. Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
