BAKER'S FISH HOUSE ONION RING BATTER | |
12 eggs, beaten 1 gallon buttermilk 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup meat tenderizer (Accent) 2 bags powdered coffee creamer (same size as the flour bags) 2 bags all purpose flour 1/2 cup egg yellow 1. Heat, deep-fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the flour in a shallow baking pan, and stir in 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper. In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the other ingredients until frothy. Dip the onion rings in the wet ingredients then into the flour mixture until coated. Then dip in the egg white mixture again, and then into the flour again. Fry onion rings in the hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels, and serve immediately.
