BEER BATTER FOR FISH OR ONION
RINGS
 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Milk (just enough to make a thin batter)
1 egg
2 c. beer
Salted flour

Combine all ingredients and hand beat. Add more beer for thinner batter. Dip fish or onion rings in milk, then in salted flour before dipping in batter. Deep fry at 365-370°F.

I added 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, dash pepper, increased flour to 2 cups and did not add milk. YUMMY!! Thank you.
