BEER BATTER ONION RINGS | |
Equal amounts of beer and flour Lg. white onions, cut in 1/4 inch slices and separated into rings Mix equal parts of beer and flour. Stir gently and let stand all day, uncovered. Dip onion rings into batter and deep fat fry until golden. These freeze beautifully and will also keep in a warm oven - especially good for an appetizer. They can be reheated in a microwave. This batter also works for other vegetables such as zucchini strips, mushrooms, and cauliflower. |
