ELYRIA BROWNIES 
4 eggs
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. white sugar
3/4 c. oil (corn or safflower)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. cocoa
1 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. oat bran

Beat eggs and gradually add sugars, oil and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and cocoa, sifted together; mix well. Then add the nuts and oat bran. Bake in two 8 x 8 inch cake pans, greased and floured, at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Check carefully, barely 30 minutes is plenty in my oven. Don't Overbake. Cut into squares while still warm, but wait until cool to remove from pan.
