BROWNIES 
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 stick (1/2 c.) butter
5 squares semi - sweet chocolate
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Cook syrup and butter until butter is melted. Remove from heat. Add chocolate; stir until melted. Add sugar; stir. Add eggs (one at a time). Add vanilla, flour and nuts. Pour into greased and floured 9 inch round pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Use toothpick test. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely.

GLAZE:

Melt 3 squares semi - sweet chocolate
1 tbsp. butter
Add 2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 tsp. milk.

Pour over top and sides of brownie. Let stand until completely cool. Serves 8.
