FROSTED BROWNIES 
1/2 c. softened butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped pecans (opt.)

Blend butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl. Add eggs; beat well with spoon. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture until well blended. Stir in nuts if desired. Spread in a greased 9" square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool in pan before frosting.

FROSTING:

3 tbsp. softened butter
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar
1-2 tbsp. milk

Cream together butter, cocoa, corn syrup and vanilla. Add sugar and milk. Beat (by hand) to a spreading consistency.
