BROILED FISH FILLETS | |
4 skinless, boneless fish fillets (flounder, perch or cod) 2 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. paprika Salt and pepper to taste Preheat broiler to High. Wash fish; pat dry. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat butter in a oven - proof broiling dish (such as Pyrex) under broiler until melted. Remove; place fish in dish and turn to coat with butter. Sprinkle with paprika and place dish in oven 5 inches from element. Cook 2 to 8 minutes, depending on thickness of fish, until fish flakes easily with a fork. Yields 2 to 4 servings. |
