BUTTERMILK CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
3 tbsp. coca
1 c. water
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, flour, and salt. Bring to a boil the butter, water, and cocoa. Pour over the dry ingredients, and mix well.

Add eggs, buttermilk, soda, and vanilla.

Pour into a greased 11 x 15 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake for 10 minutes more.

ICING:

1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 lb. box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts; optional

While cake is cookie, prepare icing by bringing to a boil the butter, milk, and cocoa. Remove from heat, and add powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Stir in nuts if desired.

Spread on hot cake.
