POPPYSEED CAKE | |
2 sticks butter 4 eggs 3 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 2 oz. poppy seeds 1/2 pt. sour cream 1 tsp. baking soda Lightly grease Bundt pan or use spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes until golden brown. Cream butter and sugar. Add 4 egg yolks (set aside whites), vanilla, sugar, sour cream, baking soda, flour and poppy seeds. Beat until fluffy. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake. |
