KIM'S HOT DOG SAUCE 
1 lb. ground beef
3 to 4 c. water
1 med. onion chopped (or 2 tbsp. dried onion)
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp. salt (may use garlic salt and omit garlic)
1/3 c. sugar
2 to 3 tbsp. chili powder
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/4 c. catsup

Combine first 7 ingredients. Cook until ground beef is done. Add tomato paste and catsup. Simmer 30 to 45 minutes or until thickened. Freezes well.
