HOT DOG SAUCE 
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lb. ground chuck
1/2 stick butter
1 (14 oz.) ketchup
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 qt. water

Cook ground chuck until nicely browned. Drain fat and add remaining ingredients, simmering until thickened.
