WALNUT BOURBON BALLS 
2 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers (about 1 box; food processor works well)
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup bourbon (whiskey works in a pinch)
3 tbsp. corn syrup (light or dark)
granulated sugar

Mix all ingredients except granulated sugar. Roll into balls, a small melon scoop works well to measure, then roll in granulated sugar. Store in an airtight container.

Makes about 48 balls.
