DILL PICKLES | |
1 gallon water 1/2 gallon white vinegar 1 c. pickling salt 2 pieces of dill (stem & tops) Let come to a boil and pour over pickles in jars (which have been washed and set in boiling water with the lids). Pack one jar at a time with clean cucumbers (medium size), put a piece of dill and a clove of garlic in each jar. Pour hot vinegar over to 1/2 inch of the top and seal. Keep left over vinegar to use for more cucumbers, just heat again. Nice for people with a garden you can use a few cucumbers as they come. They're very good. |
