RICE KRISPIE BALLS 
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 pkg. pitted dates
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. pecans
Powdered sugar

Chop dates and pecans. Melt butter in boiler; add sugar and dates and simmer 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from heat and add cereal and nuts. Cool until soft ball can be formed. Roll in powdered sugar. Store in covered container. Easy to make and so good.
