SHERI'S HAMBURGER COTTAGE CHEESE

This recipe is 30+ years old. My Grandmother made it for us all the time. It's great!

CRUST:

1 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/3 cup evaporated milk

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Mix Bisquick and milk thoroughly; knead 10 times. Roll to fit 9-inch pie pan.

FILLING:

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. cooking wine (optional)
2 tbsp. Bisquick baking mix
2 eggs
1 cup cottage cheese
paprika (optional)

Sauté beef and onions until beef loses color. Add next 4 ingredients and spread in dough-lined pan. Beat eggs slightly and blend with cottage cheese. Pour over pie and sprinkle with paprika, if desired.

Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
