ICE BOX ROLLS 
1 pkg. yeast
3 tsp. salt
5 tbsp. sugar
2 c. water (lukewarm)
1 egg, well beaten
3 tbsp. cooking oil
6 1/2 c. flour

Stir together yeast, salt, sugar and water. Add 1 egg and cooking oil. Add flour. Mix and knead until smooth. Put into greased bowl. Set in warm place covered until doubled in size. Knock down, rest 5 minutes, make rolls and let rise again. Remaining dough can be covered and stored in the refrigerator for 1 week. Punch down every day or so. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees until brown.
