BEER BREAD | |
3 c. self rising flour 1 can beer, room temperature 3 tbsp. sugar 1 stick butter, melted Blend flour with sugar. Add 1/2 stick of the melted butter and the beer. Stir until smooth. Pour in greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove and brush top of bread with melted butter. Bake 10 more minutes. Brush with butter again and repeat. Remove bread and brush with remaining butter. Keep bread well wrapped. Tends to dry out quickly. |
