QUICK BUTTERMILK ROLLS 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 cake or pkg. yeast
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk

Dissolve yeast in a little warm water. Add yeast and milk to other ingredients and make up dough. Roll and cut with cutter. Let rise 45 minutes. Bake in oven at 450 degrees.

Swedish Sweet Rolls: Make as for rolls, except do not roll. Make dough into balls about twice the size of marbles. Dip each ball in melted butter, roll in mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon. Place in tube pan, sprinkle with nuts and raisins. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 450 degrees. Use a caramel glaze if desired, after rolls are cool.
