PEAR CAKE 
4 c. chopped pears
2 c. sugar
1 c. pecans, chopped
2 eggs
1 c. Wesson oil
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix pears, sugar and pecans together and let sit for 1 hour. Add eggs, vanilla and oil. Fold in dry ingredients. Bake in greased and floured tube cake pan for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees or until done.
